On December 17, we welcomed ONR program directors for the third quarterly review of our $4.7 million award on Advancing Research on Cyber-Physical Security and Resilience: A Multifaceted Approach. The review took place across two research labs, where faculty and students showcased research results and gave five live demonstrations. These demonstrations ranged from core research topics, such as a tabletop manufacturing system for security and resilience research and LLM-supported human- machine teaming with digital twin technology, to undergraduate-led projects on fish tank monitoring and object detection for student training purposes.
The event received strong institutional support, with attendance from URI President Parlange, Vice President for Research Dr. Jenkins, and College of Engineering Dean Marchese. Finally, we are truly proud of our student team, who delivered multiple presentations, ran the demos, ensured smooth logistics, and left a lasting impression on all attendees.
