The university’s first collegiate recovery program, “Rams Together for Recovery & Wellness,” officially launched in September thanks to a strong, collaborative effort from our Health Services and Counseling departments. This is a peer-based support program free to all students that provides a safe, inclusive community for those in, seeking recovery from, or reconsidering substance use.
Students are encouraged to check out the Wellness Lounge on the first floor of the Memorial Union, where any student, regardless of their situation, can stop by to relax, do homework, or simply chat with one of our peer specialists. Check out the full story on our Student Affairs new site. Thank you to Arielle Sherman, Catherine Calise, Jennifer Hodshon, Leetal Young (Graduate Assistant), and William Massey for their work on this important initiative!
