In another life, I’m pretty sure I was: A parrot, because I sing and dance to myself all the time.
On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me: Cozied up with my husband playing video games or crocheting little creatures.
Name a few of your daily habits: Talking with my friends, doing my PT exercises, and taking all one billion of my meds (don’t forget to take your meds!)
What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome to accomplish your academic goals? Learning what has to be done now, what can be done later, and when to let go of a goal or task to focus on what matters.
What advice would you give to your past self? It may be scary, but you’ll rarely regret standing up for what you think is right, and always regret not doing it.
What is your favorite part about your job? Getting to see the beautiful diversity of ways people can learn, grow, and thrive when they have the right support!
