Social Communication in Higher Education instructor, longtime START collaborator and consultant, and a speech-language pathologist. Dr. Harwood’s faculty position at URI allows her to teach undergraduate and graduate students who are studying to become speech and language pathologists. Her clinical research focuses on neurobiological markers of speech and language development, the brain-behavior connection, and investigating audio-visual integration in persons with autism.
