Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Kaplan, and I’m the Student Communications Assistant for the EDI team. I joined this past fall and have had the privilege of working alongside a group of incredibly intelligent and driven individuals. When I first joined, I’ll admit—I wasn’t entirely sure what EDI was all about. As a Public Relations and Communication Studies student, I was eager to learn but unsure of what to expect. However, it didn’t take long for me to realize just how impactful this team is. 

That’s where I come in! Every organization needs strong communication and engagement, especially through social media. If you’ve seen an EDI post or graphic online, chances are, I’m the one behind the screen! My role is to share updates, highlight team accomplishments, promote events, and ensure that EDI’s initiatives reach as many people as possible. Being part of this team has been an amazing experience, and I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and sharing the incredible work EDI does.
