Biography

Nathan Jolicoeur is a Master’s student in Systems Engineering at the University of Rhode Island (URI). He graduated with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from URI in May 2026. During his undergraduate study, he worked on Navy-funded human factors research, participated in URI’s Energy Fellowship with the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources and interned with PepsiCo as a production improvement intern. He also served as President of URI S.A.V.E.S., a student-led organization that connects college students to local volunteer opportunities.

Nathan is interested in operations research and optimization, hoping to use his skillset to increase voting system efficiency. Outside of school he enjoys gardening, reading science fiction books, and hiking.
