Biography

Hello, I’m Dominique, a Ph.D. student in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Cameroon. I obtained both my B.S. and M.S. from URI in 2017 and 2018, respectively. My area of interest in ISE is Ergonomics and my research focuses on understanding how team communication affects team performance using a method known as fuzzy cognitive mapping.

On the URI VOTES Team I act as a User Experience (UX) researcher. The URI VOTES team has created and/or provided several tools and guides for voting officials’ use. As a UX researcher I am tasked with identifying what could make these tools and guides easier and more convenient to users and helping get them to that point.
