Dr. Pengfei Liu is an assistant professor at the Department of Environmental and Natural Resource Economics. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Connecticut in 2016. His main interests include environmental and resource economics, energy economics, agriculture economics, and experimental economics. He has published in leading environmental and resource economics journals and received research funding from government agencies including USDA, EPA, and NOAA as well as private organizations such as the Sloan Foundation. Before joining URI, he has worked at the University of Connecticut and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
