Before contacting applicants to schedule interviews, you are required to request approval via email to Robin Santini and Anne Marie Coleman (Staff) or your Dean (Faculty) with the SUBJECT LINE indicating the POSTING number.   The applicant evaluation rubric must accompany your email request to interview.

 

Initial Interviews

• Preliminary conference call or virtual online interviews are recommended.
• Interview format should be consistent:  virtual or in-person
• Virtual interviews must be conducted with the same privacy and professionalism as in-person interviews
• Have as many of the search committee members in attendance as possible.
• Ask the same questions of each candidate.
• Invite the same persons/groups to meet with each candidate.
• Have the same search committee members attend each interview.

 

On-Campus interviews must be conducted for all finalists.  This requirement is currently waived due to COVID.

Note:  It is important that all interviews be conducted with as much consistency as possible.
