Current Projects

Digital health readiness in pediatric care

We are interested in learning about digital health tools, such as telehealth, Apps, wearables, and AI, used for pediatric feeding, nutrition, and growth management. We also want to learn what supports families and healthcare providers in using them.

Family-centered care practices in pediatric feeding disorder (PFD) management

We are studying how speech-language pathologists use family-centered practices when supporting children with PFD in community settings. We also want to learn about what supports they need and what challenges they experience in providing family-centered care.

Pediatric Feeding Disorder Dynamic Approach to Impacts and Social Integration (PFD DAISI)

We are developing a framework that provides feeding professionals and families with a shared understanding of the multidirectional and complex interactions among factors and social levels that impact children and families. The PFD DAISI has potential applications for clinical, education, research, and population health uses.
