Congressional Fellowships on Women and Public Policy

Each fellow will receive a stipend of about $3,400 per month from January to July in addition to $1,000 for the purchase of health insurance. However, fellows are responsible for their own lodging and transportation to and from Washington.

This opportunity is not only a paid fellowship, but it is a chance to work in the nation’s capital specifically on issues that affect women and their lives in the office of a member of Congress. The networking and resume building opportunities are numerous, as the fellowship is also over the course of seven months, from January to July, and will therefore be able to provide fellows with incredible research experience and additional professional development.
