For participating, students will receive a stipend of €1398 per month in addition to accident and sickness insurance. They are allowed two days of personal leave per month, but will be responsible for finding their own housing.
Not only is this internship paid, but students will be able to get the experience of working with professionals at the European Parliament Office in Washington, DC. This will allow students to be able to network with professionals in the office and learn more about international affairs and work in public service. This also is an opportunity for resume building and professional development as well as the amount of workplace education that students will be able to have in this placement.
