Qatar Foundation International AHS Summer Scholar Award

This scholarship will allow for funding to help with the cost of taking a summer class focused on the Arabic language for students who are committed to improving their fluency of the language. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must make an account on the Qatar Foundation International website and then sign up for the Arabic Honor Society. Signing up for the honor society is listed as being required to submit general personal information, several essays, and university records.

Internships at the European Parliament Office

This is a full-time, paid internship with the European Parliament Office in Washington, DC. These are three-month internships with the opportunity to extend the internship for an additional two months and are offered in both the fall and spring. As an intern, students will work with staffers to address policy issues, participate in events and meetings, prepare research papers and memos for the office, assist in managing high-profile visitors and additional events, and analyze legislation. Students will be working with topics that include financial services, energy, the environment, outreach and public diplomacy, counter-terrorism, and additional fields that contribute to the office.

Federal Asian Pacific American Council Public Service Scholarship

The FAPAC Distinguished Public Service Scholarship Endowment Fund is a non-profit organization that promotes the recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander students interested in public service who exhibit academic excellence and demonstrate a continuous effort to foster diversity and inclusion in AAPI communities.

Freedom House Junior Fellowship

Freedom House is seeking three motivated candidates for the nine-month Freedom in the World. Each Junior Fellow will be hired to join Freedom House as a fixed-term, salaried employee, eligible for a generous benefits package. Junior Fellows will be responsible for managing the research for one of the six geographic regions covered by Freedom in the World. The Junior Fellows will have the opportunity to establish expertise on a specific region and will be called on to provide analysis of that region for internal use and potentially in response to media and other external queries.
