Thank you for joining us in Seoul!
On November 15, 2025, the University of Rhode Island brought its global community together in Seoul, South Korea, for an inspiring evening of connection, insight, and Rhody pride at Dongdaemun Design Plaza’s Seoul-On Studio. This special gathering united URI alumni, students, families, partners, and friends to celebrate and connect in South Korea.
Guests heard from Dr. Kerry LaPlante, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Sean Edmund Rogers, Dean of the College of Business, who shared insights into URI’s innovation in aging and infectious diseases and the business of fashion. Attendees connected with alumni, industry leaders, university leadership, and faculty from the Colleges of Business, Pharmacy, and Engineering to learn more about academic programs, research, and the student experience at URI. They also had the opportunity to learn more about studying at URI and available programs.
The evening concluded with a celebratory reception honoring URI alumni, friends, and family in South Korea.
