URI “Frontiers in Quantum Computing” Conference: Oct. 18-21

The 2021 Fall conference in Quantum Computing and Quantum Information Science celebrates the launch of URI’s new M.S. degree program in Quantum Computing. A particular focus of the conference will be on education. Grad students and postdoctoral scientists are encouraged to attend and learn about new advancements and career opportunities in quantum computing and quantum information science, present their own work, and expand their professional network.

Conference topics include:

  • National Quantum Initiative
  • Quantum information science education
  • Physical implementations of quantum computing
  • Quantum algorithms
  • Quantum computing in industry

The event will take place October 18-20 on the Kingston campus and will bring key QIS leaders in government, academia, and industry to URI to present latest development and frontiers in both theoretical and experimental aspects of the field.  For more info and to register, click HERE.
