Biography

Jasper Meagher (he/they) is a third year PhD student in the Graduate School of Oceanography, studying the usage of deep-sea exploratory footage and images in ecological studies at hydrothermal vents and cold-water coral communities. Jasper loves his pet reptiles, cooking, and playing his bass. He is also passionate about queer issues, non-traditional relationship models, conflict resolution, scientific communication and mental health! Jasper got his BS in Biological Science from Florida State University, and his M.Res. from the University of Southampton.
