Scholarship Nominations

Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. Candidates are nominated by their department or program and recipients must be full-time graduate students in good academic standing.

Scholarship Timeline

  • February 1: Call for nominations
  • March 1: Nominations due
  • Early April: Scholarship winners announced

Graduate School scholarships cover individual tuition and 20 percent of graduate student fees.  They do not cover health insurance.  Students with Graduate School scholarships may work on campus for hourly pay, but students who do so will not be eligible for benefits associated with assistantships.

For further information about scholarships, students should contact their major professors, graduate directors or department chairs.

Departments may nominate students for Graduate School tuition scholarships. Find the Nomination Form Here.
