Biography
I am a fourth year PhD candidate in the Behavioral sciences program at URI. My research focuses on Multiple Health risk behaviors among underserved group, specifically I am looking at psychosocial motivators behind poly-nicotine product use. I am passionate about uplifting voices, especially of historically marginalized groups. In addition to my academic pursuits, I serve as the President of Global Connections, an International Graduate Students committee at the University of Rhode Island. My work focuses on fostering a supportive and inclusive community for international students and enhancing cross-cultural connections within the university. I also serving as the chair for Graduate Student Advocacy committee, GAU and member of various other grad organizations on campus. Outside of academics, I’m a dedicated home cook who loves experimenting with new recipes and ingredients.
