Biography

Dr. Stefanie Argus (she/her/hers) earned her PhD in Education from URI in May 2023 and began as a URI DIBP facilitator in 2020. Her academic research and writing have included topics of (in)equity, critical whiteness studies, English Language Learners, and LGBTQ+ rights. She also holds TESOL certification, a Master’s in Adventure Education, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology & Education. Stefanie joined Landmark College as Assistant Professor of Education in August 2023 and presently volunteers on the local, national, and global levels of Girl Scouts. She loves hiking, Zumba, and Shortbread, her Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Stefanie and her wife are raising their son to be brazenly feminist.
