Biography

Dr. Stefanie Argus (she/her/hers) earned her PhD in Education from URI in May 2023 and began as a URI DIBP facilitator in 2020. Her academic research and writing have included topics of (in)equity, critical whiteness studies, English Language Learners, and LGBTQ+ rights. She also holds TESOL certification, a Master’s in Adventure Education, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology & Education. Stefanie joined Landmark College as Assistant Professor of Education in August 2023 and presently serves as a Trustee with the World Association of Girl Guides & Girl Scouts. She loves hiking, Zumba, and Shortbread, her Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
