Biography
Josh Feinstein has over 25 years of experience working in the sports industry for—and alongside—some of the world’s most recognized sports brands. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of New Business and Strategic Partnerships at Outerstuff, a global leader in licensed sports apparel.
Prior to joining Outerstuff in 2019, Josh spent 12 years at the National Football League, where he rose through the organization to become a Vice President in the NFL’s Consumer Products group. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing the league’s strategic partnerships with Nike, Fanatics, New Era, Under Armour, Adidas, Wilson, and others, while leading and developing a team of seven.
Earlier in his career, Josh held roles with the National Hockey League, Modell’s Sporting Goods, Madison Square Garden, and two internet start-ups. He began his professional journey after graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 1998, where he served as Sports Editor of The Good Five Cent Cigar, URI’s student newspaper, and Sports Radio Director for WRIU 90.3. During his time at URI, he had the unique opportunity to cover and announce games for the men’s basketball team during its run to the Elite Eight.
Josh met his wife, Lauren (Class of 1998), during their freshman year at URI. He remains deeply connected to the University and is passionate about mentoring students and young professionals, helping them navigate career paths, build meaningful professional relationships, and translate academic experiences into long-term success.
Josh lives in Manalapan, New Jersey, with his wife, their two children, Heather and Andrew, and their dog, Charlie.
