Biography

Mike has worked in public relations, media relations and corporate communications at  New England-based companies with national and global reach for more than 30 years.

Mike is currently the Head of Corporate Communications at Brightstar Lottery (formerly IGT), the global leader in lottery solutions, serving lottery customers and their players on six continents. He is responsible for external communications, media relations, website content, and issues and reputation management. 

Prior to joining Brightstar in 2024, Mike worked at CVS Health, the nation’s leading health solutions company, in a variety of PR and communications leadership roles for 25 years, the last ten of which he led crisis communications and issues management across all lines of CVS’ business.

Mike began his PR career at Hospital Trust National Bank after graduating from URI in 1991 with a B.A. in English. While at URI, he wrote, directed and acted in URI-TV’s sketch comedy show, The Low Budget Zone.

Mike lives in Cumberland, RI with his wife, Heather and their two dogs.
