Don Coyne

Biography

Don Coyne is a 1983 URI graduate who went on to be a local sportscaster in Rhode Island for over 26 years. A past winner of the New England Emmy for Sports Reporting, he has covered most of the major sporting events in the country including 7 Super Bowls, 5 NBA Finals, The Stanley Cup Finals, The Final Four, and US Golf Open, amongst many other events. At one stretch he attended 29 out of 30 Patriots playoff games.

Since leaving television in 2011, he is now running his own video production company that has produced over 50 half-hour fishing shows along with video work for The New England Patriots Alumni Club, International Tennis Hall of Fame, RI and Mass Golf Associations, Ocean State Job Lot, Launch Trampoline Parks, and many, many more.
