Biography

With a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies and applied research in behavior change, the goal of Amy Cabaniss’ career in environmental education and communication has been to motivate environmentally-responsible behavior. Amy has been a member of the URI community in various capacities, serving as URI Extension educator, Office of Sustainability Outreach coordinator, and a Department of Communications instructor for Fundamentals of Communication and Persuasion: Rhetoric of Influence. Amy also teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at Connecticut universities.
