Beazley Kanost

Biography

For 20 years, Beazley Kanost has taught college courses that range from “Introduction to Film Media” to “Literature, Philosophy, & the Examined Life.” She grew up on Saipan in the Mariana Islands, then spent many years in Oklahoma before settling in Rhode Island. She is working on a book based on her doctoral dissertation and also on The Ophelia Collection, a group of stories. When she has time, she makes books by hand out of junk and prose poems.
