Jacqueline Britto

Biography

Jacquie Britto graduated in 2018 with a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Business from University of Rhode Island in 2013. Prior to moving to the US, she completed Education in Canada consisting of Theology Degree, Business Accounting, and Business Information System.

In addition to her teaching, she is a licensed Minister. She has served in various community organizations as a volunteer for over 20 years. Currently, she is on the board for a nonprofit organization that has the mission of developing the community and also has a food pantry that serves approximately 2755 people annually. She is an advocate for Domestic violence and sex assault victims/survivors, as well as ministers within the World Network Prayer Organization. Her life’s work is focused on teaching and promoting principles of prayer, advocating for victims and promoting respect. She is also an Anger Management Trainer and a Certified Life Connect Addiction Counsellor.

Some of her favorite activities include travel, walk, meditate, journal, write poems. Most importantly she values balance in work/life, family, and friends.
