Biography

Julia DeGiovanni received her M.A. back in July of 2021 and is in her second year of teaching at URI. As a professor of Communication Studies, she teaches Communication Fundamentals (COM 100). Upon graduating with her Master’s degree, Julia was recognized for receiving the “Graduate Student Academic Excellence Award” back in 2021. Most recently, she was named URI’s “Part-time Faculty Teaching Excellence Award” for the 2021-2022 year.
