Biography

Keith Brown holds Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Boston University. He developed and taught a course for the Experimental College at Tufts University which focused on the study of representation of teens in American film. He has also taught film production courses at Boston University.

Keith’s work has been exhibited at the Boston Cinema Census, the Antelope Valley International Film Festival, the Georgetown Indy Film Fest, Columbus Film & Video Festival, Woods Hole Film Festival, the Syracuse International Film and Video Festival, Film Stock, and the Rhode Island International Film Festival. He is also one of the founders of Boston Open Screen, an open-mike night for filmmakers, which is now held at the Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Keith collaborated with former students Rachel Mossberg (URI) and Aviv Rubenstien (BU) as a producer of Survive DC, a documentary feature that is in post-production. He is also in post-production on a narrative short film, 80s Birthday Party.

He was also the program director of the KidsEye Filmmaking Camp for 12 years where he taught young students the basics of narrative film production.
