Kelly Cecchini

Biography

Kelly Cecchini, MSEd, is a part-time faculty member in the Department of Writing and Rhetoric/Harrington School of Communication and Media. Before joining the University of Rhode Island, she was the English Department Chair at Manchester High School in Manchester, Connecticut (retired), as well as an adjunct Instructor in the First Year Writing program at the University of Connecticut. Cecchini has been a Teacher Consultant for the Connecticut Writing Project since 2002. She is also currently a University Supervisor for Central Connecticut State University, overseeing Secondary English student teachers in the field, and an adjunct Instructor of Composition at Quinebaug Valley Community College.
