Harrington School students can now be rewarded for their academic achievement. Beginning in October, Harrington School students who have completed 60 credits with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a 3.25 GPA in their major can join Lambda Pi Eta. This is the first time a school-wide honor society is available to students.

There are many exciting facets of this new relationship including potential research and teaching collaborations.

For the second year in a row, Harrington School students will have the opportunity to learn about and develop skills essential for their future professions during a week-long event.

Public relations students in Professor Regina Bell’s class will gain real-world experience this fall. In collaboration with the World War II Foundation, PR students will create and implement a social media campaign to promote the Rhode Island premiere of “Journey Home to the Arizona.”  

This summer Nicole Lattarulo is interning with WLNE-TV, ABC 6 in Providence, learning the ropes and getting her hands on some really cool stories.  

Writing is one of the most sought after skills by employers today, according to a survey by the Association of American Colleges and Universities. This important skill is a major focus of the Harrington School and one of the reasons the Writing Center was established.
