Emma Green
Emma Green is a staff writer at The Atlantic, where she covers politics, policy, and religion. Previously, she served as the manager editor of the magazine’s website.
In 2018, she was the winner of the Religion News Association’s first-place award in religion-news analysis, and she spent a year living in and reporting from Israel and Palestine. She has spoken at universities across the United States, including Princeton, Columbia, the University of Chicago, and Washington University in St. Louis. Her work has also appeared in outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and NPR. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and a native of Nashville, Tennessee. She lives in New York City.
