Edwards Hall and onlineThe 2025 Honors Colloquium will provide a valuable opportunity for the URI community to engage in a thoughtful and informed dialogue on the challenges facing education today. The way we educate students is constantly evolving, but are we preparing them for the future or reinforcing outdated systems? The 2025 Honors Colloquium, Education, Behind the Curtains, will explore how history, policy, and innovation shape learning from early childhood through higher education. From AI-driven instruction to the growing need for equity-minded educators, this series will dive into the most urgent challenges in PK-20 education.
