Biography

I’ve taught Health Services Administration since 2001, and I also teach Health Economics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics at URI. My healthcare background includes extensive industry experience with private and government insurers, consulting, innovation, and retail pharmacy including Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI, United Healthcare of NE, Optum (UnitedHealth Group), IBM Watson Health, and CVS Health.

I have earned an MBA degree (Accounting, Finance, and Marketing) from The University of Chicago, a BS degree in Management (Economics and Management Science) from MIT, and a Fellow designation from the Academy for Healthcare Management.
