Ann Fomukong-Boden – Co-Founder, Director and Principal Electronic Engineer at Kakou. I run an engineering social enterprise in Chesterfield, UK called Kakou. The word Kakou is Hawaiian for their value inclusiveness, that we are all in this together, therefore Kakou develops inclusive “tech for good” and through our community outreach programme Social Fuse, we provide inclusive creative art-based STEM events and activities.As an engineer who loves music and the creative arts, this gives me the perfect opportunity to do the things that I love best whilst making a positive contribution to future tech and inspiring the public (young and old) to engage in engineering and the sciences; and hopefully raising the aspirations of those I meet.
