Two “polar” and two “temperate” walk-in environmental chambers
- Location: Basement floor, Ann Gall Durbin Aquarium building
- Specifications: EnvironAir 100 ft2 custom-built chambers with stainless steel walls, drains, and doors with elongated windows to facilitate viewing. Modular shelving or tables available.
- Temperature ranges: Two “Polar” (-4 to 20 ᵒC) and Two “Temperate” chambers (4 to 24 ᵒC)
- Additional features: Photoperiod control | high and low temperature alarm controls | emergency generator power and emergency response personnel

Three Percival custom-built upright biological incubators (seaworthy)
- Location: basement floor, Ann Gall Durbin Aquarium building
- Specifications: I-41LLVL(X) specially designed to handle low temperatures and for prolonged life in a highly corrosive seawater environment, 24.5 ft2 total shelving, 2 electrical receptacles inside chamber, one access port on wall, with IntellusUltra Connect capabilities, Programmable digital temperature and light controller, high and low temperature alarm controls
- Temperature range: -2 to 44 ᵒC, depending on number of light fixtures on
- Lighting: Horizontal and vertical lighting system, 4 tiers, extra lights available
