URI BME Capstone Design Showcase took place on April 19, 2024, and presented 8 medical technology projects (uniquely designed by 32 undergraduates). These projects were hosted by several labs spanning different colleges at the University of Rhode Island. This year, the Motor Control and Rehabilitation Lab helped to design and test the KINETOSENSE. This instrumented object allows for precise kinetic and kinematics measurements and will be used in the MCR-Lab for research and rehabilitation. Dr. Furmanek mentored a group of talented BME graduating seniors: Anna Cetera, Emma Lehman, Elizabeth Sheehy, and Taylor Oden. Congratulations on successfully completing the project!
