Biography

Frankie finished her undergraduate degree at UCLA in 2023 in atmospheric and oceanic science. During her program, she validated satellite chlorophyll and temperature against in situ data in the Santa Monica Bay. She also gained first-hand research experience studying photoinhbition in the northern Gulf of Alaska as part of a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program. She presented findings from her REU at the 2023 ASLO conference, and was a member of the ASLO Multicultural Program.
