Kate Cimini is the agriculture, housing and homelessness reporter for The Salinas Californian, a local paper in the “Salad Bowl of the World.” She graduated from the Medill School of Journalism in 2018 with a master’s degree in national security journalism and soon joined The Californian as its enterprise reporter.
