Biography

Katie Brown reports on statewide climate and energy issues for The Maine Monitor—part of the Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting—serving as a Report for America corps member. Her investigative environmental reporting has taken her on overnight commercial fishing expeditions, impromptu tractor rides, and hikes through sacred mountains. She worked as a local newspaper reporter and radio producer while earning her master’s degree from the UC Santa Cruz Science Communication Program. Twitter: @earthexaminer
