Cassandra Profita is an environment reporter and producer for Oregon Public Broadcasting. She produces radio and television stories on science and environmental issues in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2019 with a master’s degree in multimedia journalism, and she has a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism from the University of Missouri. Her work has appeared on NPR and PBS and has earned awards from the National Academies of Television Arts & Sciences, the Radio Television Digital News Association and the Society of Professional Journalists.
