Biography

Elizabeth Partsch, professionally known as Liz, currently works at Farm and Dairy newspaper, a regional newspaper based in Salem, Ohio, covering agriculture, energy and rural news in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. She has previously worked at Impakter, an international publication based in London that covers sustainability, the environment, politics and human rights. She also worked as a student journalist at Ohio University’s student-run newspaper The Post and Southeast Ohio Magazine. Liz primarily covers energy and agriculture beats such as dairy, specialty crops, value-added products, sustainable farming, pollinators, forestry and the effectiveness of USDA programs. She has a particular interest in covering the oil and gas industry as well as alternative energy solutions, and the impacts they have on rural communities.
