Biography

Daniel Aguirre is a son, father, brother, partner, and immigrant. His professional expertise stems from grassroots community organizing, collaboration within cultural institutions, engagement in formative educational environments, and involvement in place-based science and STEM research and outreach initiatives. He has actively supported the professional growth of STEM and science communication practitioners, as well as academic and institutional leaders, fostering development in both role and organizational culture. He established Pueblo with the mission of guiding organizations and individuals to actively implement inclusion rather than merely offering promises. Pueblo is dedicated to advancing efforts that transcend purely transactional outreach, instead focusing on cultivating enduring community relationships centered on equity.
