As climate change has become a more frequent issue of concern, all newsrooms have had to adjust by incorporating more coverage of environmental change and its impacts. The workshop will help journalists gain a solid foundation in the fundamentals of research practice, climate science, and adaptation measures from leading researchers and policy makers. The 2022 Workshop will focus on coastal and inland flooding—how climate change is affecting flooding, how communities are responding, and how reporters can tell these stories effectively and inclusively.
