Mohammed El-Said covers the environment as a staff writer for the Daily News Egypt, and as a freelancer for Scientific American Arabic Edition and different international and regional science outlets. He has graduated with a geography degree from Mansoura University, and a diploma in media and literary translation from the American University in Cairo. He has also covered politics and reported for the business section for Egyptian media outlets. He is one of the Cambridge Climate Lecture Series writing competition winners 2018, Cambridge University and Climate Tracker.
