Biography

Jessica Minker is a graduate student in URI’s Master of Environmental Science and Management program and the Communications Fellow for the College of the Environment and Life Sciences. She earned a B.A. in Geology-Biology from Brown University, where she wrote scripts for SciToons, a science education video channel, sparking her passion for making complex scientific topics accessible to broad audiences. Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of science communication and environmental conservation.
