Biography

Sam Delgado is a freelance multimedia journalist covering food and agriculture, climate, public health, and labor. She recently wrapped up a fellowship with Vox.com’s Future Perfect, a section dedicated to covering big, challenging issues with a solutions-oriented lens. During her year there, she reported on a wide range of stories — from the hidden costs of animal-based beauty trends, to the lack of federal heat standards for workers, and much more. Prior to that, she worked at More Perfect Union as their production manager, where she collaborated closely with producers to make their documentary-style stories on economic and political issues come to life. She also produced her own videos on unionization campaigns, labor strikes, and policy. Sam was proudly born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and she currently lives in Washington, DC.
