Dencker is a specialist in submerged paleocultural site identification and excavation, and has served as an external advisor on URI’s Submerged Paleocultural Landscapes Project since 2012. With funding from the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Management (BOEM), this paleocultural landscapes project has been underway for more than six years.
