A recent ecoRI News article details the steps necessary for Rhode Island to reach its goal of achieving 100 percent renewable energy by 2030. Tim Faulkner reviews the solutions under consideration as presented by the Office of Energy Resources (OER). 

Faulkner writes that “the target will likely be reached without doing much outside of existing renewable-energy initiatives and hoping that offshore wind development reaches critical mass.”
