Chris Kearns is the Legislative Liaison and Interdepartmental Manager at the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources. Chris works on clean energy policies and legislation and has been involved in the implementation and oversight of the state’s clean energy laws and programs over the last several years. Chris has been passionate in developing and maintaining renewable energy and energy efficiency programs and growing the state’s clean energy economy. Chris graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Management in 2008. Chris is a Rhode Island native having grown up in Westerly.
