INSPIRE Environmental is hiring a Marine Science Field /QHSSE Manager.

INSPIRE Environmental is a growing environmental science consultancy, based in Newport, RI, and looking to add an exceptional technician to their entrepreneurial team. 

Interested persons who want to go to sea and collect unique seafloor imagery and ensure that data are collected correctly and safely, 100% of the time are invited to apply. Offshore projects may range from short, local deployments to extended, international expeditions. Project durations may require spending a few days to several weeks offshore. The selected candidate must represent INSPIRE’s core mission and values in a professional, courteous, and ethical manner

The Marine Science Field/QHSSE Manager will play a vital role in planning and staging field operations and maintaining safe and healthy operations; managing scientific operations; maintaining subsea equipment; and supervising field scientists and technicians. This individual must be able to work independently, must have strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills, and demonstrated project management and organizational skills. This position requires an individual to be flexible, multi-task effectively, and possess excellent documentation and communication skills. The Field Manager may also have the opportunity to participate in fieldwork, including offshore deployments.
