English is a marine ecologist expert in impacts of offshore renewables on marine ecology, and reef effects. He has collaborated with URI on the benthic ecology studies of the Block Island Wind Farm funded by the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (through HDR) for the last two years.
